Will my Lift Chair arrive fully assembled?
Your lift chair will arrive in a box 33" wide x 43.75" long x 35" high. You have two options, take the chair out of the box yourself or for a small fee we will send someone out to your home to do this service. The entire process is simply cut the box on the dotted line, slide the chair out, and take it out of the plastic. The seat back will be laying on the seat, simply pick it up and slide it into the brackets. Install two 9 volt batteries into the transformer (this is the battery back up) and plug the unit into any standard wall outlet.
What about taxes or other fees?
Lift chairs are medical devices and purchased over the internet there are no taxes. Unlike other companies we have no other fees to deliver the chair to your home.
What happens when I need warranty repairs or service on my Pride Lift Chair?
You will be provided the best warranty of all manufacturers. Our warranty is one full year longer than if you purchased the chair locally. The first year the warranty service is provided by Pride Mobility, the manufacturer, and is in home service for both parts and labor. If the tech does not have the part a replacement will be sent overnight. If you need service you simply call the 800 number provided with each lift chair.
We have chosen not to be a Medicare provider so we can not file Medicare claims for you. We will provide you with an invoice for your lift chair and you may file with the appropriate insurance/agency on your own behalf.
